Xiangling had been prepared to get scolded, to have Keqing yell at her over not telling her about what the peppers were supposed to do. After all, she'd been already feeling guilty, so surely Keqing would feel the same way, right?
But then... Keqing doesn't yell at her. In fact, she's blushing. (A matching beet-red flush is on Xiangling's cheeks by now, too. She fidgets, her body tense, nervous energy from fingers to toes.)
"...you're not mad? You still want to eat them? Even if they... you know... do that?"
She says, giving Keqing a hopeful look, like that of a particularly cute puppy. After all, she'd only wanted to help, right?
